What we do

Haeluotto follows the Finnish credit market: banks, branches of foreign banks, finance companies and other lenders. We gather their published rates, margins, amounts, terms and annual percentage rates in one place and keep them up to date automatically.

How we stay independent

The order in our tables follows the published rate. We receive no payment for the order in which products are shown. If commercial partner links appear on the site, they are clearly labelled and never affect the order. We do not grant loans, broker credit or make credit decisions.

Where the data comes from

Data is read from lenders’ own websites. A lender’s type and supervision are checked against the Finnish FSA’s supervised-entities list, and Euribor rates come from public sources. Every product shows its check date and a link to the lender’s own page.

Errors and corrections

Automatic reading can go wrong when a lender changes its site. Did you spot an error or a gap? Tell us on the contact page and we will check the figure at its source and correct it.
